Musée des Arts et Métiers

The Musée des arts et métiers is a museum in Paris ( 3 Arrdt. ), Which houses the collection was founded in 1794 at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers ( Arts and Crafts School ). It occupies among other things, the church and the refectory of the former Abbey of Saint -Martin -des- Champs.

In the collection there are many scientific instruments and inventions, such as eg the original Foucault pendulum, or Fardier by Nicholas Cugnot.
