Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro

The Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro (MAM, also: MAMRJ, MAMRio ) is a 1954 designed by architect Affonso Eduardo Reidy Art Museum in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. The gardens are from Roberto Burle Marx.

The museum houses an excellent collection of Brazilian art in addition also changing international exhibitions.

After the fire in 1978, the collection has been built by various donations and purchases again. Since 1993 located in the museum and the collection of the art conveyor Gilberto Chateaubriand with approximately 4000 works of modern and contemporary art.
