Musique Vol. 1 1993–2005

Musique Vol 1 1993-2005 is a compilation album of the French House formation Daft Punk from the year 2006. Originally published it was on 29 March 2006 in Japan, on April 3 of that year, including in Germany and the United Kingdom. The song is included on the official soundtrack for Wipeout 2097. The album is on the B-side of Daft Punk's Da Funk music, musique, named because it has been sold more than her debut album, Homework, but Musique was not included on the album, said Thomas Bangalter.

Reception

Charts

Daft Punk could reach several charts with the album. He managed a sixth place in the U.S. Billboard Dance / Electronic Albums. Overall, it held there 70 weeks a placement. In Australia, reached number 47 and stayed for two weeks in the charts, in Switzerland was ranked 36 achieved five weeks they remained in the top 75 in both official Belgian charts also you could post a placement: Place 18 (12 weeks) in Wallonia and number 38 (16 weeks) in Flanders.

Criticism

The album received mostly positive criticism.

Said John Bush of Allmusic that Daft Punk would be best productions of the 12 years its been singles and the album (consisting for the most part as singles published songs) this proves impressively. He forgave 4.5 out of five stars.

Mark Pytlik of Pitchfork Media awarded 8.4 out of 10 possible points and said nevertheless that the compilation of Daft Punk's best singles would be incomplete.
