My Little Bride ( 어린 신부 ) is a South Korean film from the year 2004.

The 15 - year-old high school girl Bo -eun and the older graduate student Sang- min known each other since childhood. While Bo -eun is struggling with the daily problems of a high school student, Sang- min enjoys life to the fullest. One day, Bo - eun 's grandfather asks to meet both a promise he had made to Sang -min's grandfather during the Korean War: A marriage to create a family relationship. After much hesitation, they decide to fulfill his last wish, perhaps.

Because of their age Bo -eun keeps the marriage largely secret and considered Sang- min as a big brother. Sang- min is initially not clear with the idea that it go all the hot girls through their fingers. But quickly he forgets the thoughts and cherishes " romantic " feelings for her, but they are not so right distinguishable as it is considered perverse womanizer, including Bo -eun is not safe from him. Bo -eun starts on the first day of their honeymoon, a high school romance with the most popular kid there Jung -woo, which Sang- min learns soon. Both spouses feel but also not particularly mutual obligation basically, but since they are together under one roof, they must get along. The harder it is, as Sang- min happens to be accepted to study internship as a teacher in Bo - eun school.

Gradually noted Bo -eun that she was too selfish and Sang -min's ignored feelings. Sang- min wants Bo -eun making trouble and not spoil their happiness of time at high school and they enjoy their childishness. At the school festival, the two finally come closer. Bo -eun now knows that she is no longer a child and recognizes only now Sang -min's feelings and what marriage means.

Reviews

Joon Soh criticized in the Korea Times that older viewers is likely to interfere with the lack of a "real plot ", but younger viewers, especially fans of the lead actor, probably with the film are likely to be happy. In his review in Variety, Derek Elley know points to the similarity to the Hong Kong movie My Wife Is 18 2002.

The film was released on 2 April 2004 in the South Korean cinema and had on 13 May 2004, screening at the Marché du film, Cannes.
