Mytishchi Arena

The Mytischtschi Arena (Russian Арена Мытищи ) is an ice rink in the Russian city Mytischtschi which lies about 20 kilometers northeast of Moscow. The hall was built in 2006 and offers at Hockey Games 7000 spectators. At concerts, this capacity can be expanded to 9,000.

Use

The hall is used by the hockey team of the Moscow Oblast ice hockey club, which plays its home games there.

In the spring of 2007, the arena next to the Khodynka Arena in Moscow, the venue of the 71 IIHF World Men's Championship, which took place in Russia.
