Na Haeo District

Amphoe Na hao ( Thai: อำเภอ นาแห้ว ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the west of the province of Loei. The Loei Province is located in the western part of the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Adjacent counties and regions are ( from east clockwise): Amphoe Dan Sai in Loei province, as well as Amphoe Nakhon Thai and Chat Trakan the province of Phitsanulok. To the north the province of Laos is Sayaburi.

The main river of the district is the Lamnam Hueang ( Thai: ลำน้ำ เหื อง - Hueang River ), which forms on 90 kilometers of its total length of 110 kilometers, the border to Laos.

The National Park Phu Suan Sai is located in this district.

History

Well hao was posted on February 15, 1970 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the two Tambon Na hao and Na Phung Amphoe Dan Sai were separated from. On September 8, 1976 he was promoted to Amphoe.

Management

Amphoe Na hao is divided into five subdistricts ( tambon), which continued in 34 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

In Amphoe Na hao, there is a small town ( thesaban tambon):

  • Well hao ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นาแห้ว ) consists of parts of the tambon Na hao.

There are also four " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
