Nabonidus Chronicle

The Nabonidus Chronicles describe the activities of Nabonidus, the last king of the Neo-Babylonian Empire, in the 17 years of his reign.

The Chronicle has been handed down through the text in cuneiform on a clay tablet in London acquired in the art trade, the British Museum ( Inv. No. ME 35382 ), 1879. The exact origin is unknown, but it is believed that it comes from Babylon.
