Nadia Ejjafini

Nadia Ejjafini (born 8 November 1980) is an Italian long-distance runner of Moroccan origin who competed for Bahrain from time to time.

In 1998, she finished fourth in the 5000m at the IAAF World Junior Championships in Annecy.

In 2003, she came, now starting for Bahrain, the Marathon of the World Championships in Athletics in Paris / Saint- Denis on the 44th. In 2004 she was second in the Naples marathon, but did not reach the marathon of the Olympic Games in Athens the target. The following year, she won the marathon at the World Championships in Helsinki the 41st place.

In 2006 she won the Parelloop, the Corrida de Langueux and the Tilburg Ladies Run 10K 2007 she repeated her victory in Langueux with course record and set as fourth in the Milan Marathon with 2:37:25 h the current Bahraini record. She was then nominated for the Olympic Games in Beijing, renounced there but for a start.

She is married to an Italian and received on 20 September 2009, the citizenship of her husband.
