Nadine Brandl (born 11 March 1990 in Vienna) is an Austrian synchronized swimmer ( solo and duet ).

Career

Brandl is the niece synchronized swimmer Alexandra Worisch ( medalist at the European Championships in 1981, 1985 and 1987) and the Diver Michael Worisch and granddaughter of Eva 's Diving Worisch (born Eva Pfarrhofer ). Initial experience in the sport she began five years in the gymnastics club to collect. After nine years of residence in Belgium and Germany returned to Austria, she began to train with her grandmother, who looked after the synchronized swimming in the swimming club. As of 2005, she went to in the European Junior Championships in solo competition, where they the ninth, eighth, 2006 and 2007 and 2008 respectively occupied the seventh place in 2005. At the Junior World Championships in 2006 became Twelfth and 2008 Tenth.

Together, they reached at their first joint international shows, at the European Swimming Championships 2010 in Budapest the ninth, Brandl in the final of the solo -petition ex aequo with the Czech Soňa Bernardová seventh place. At the world swimming championships in Shanghai in 2011 she took part in four competitions: Solo technically ( 16 ), solo -free ( 16 ), Duet technical ( 22 ) and duet free ( 20 ). The separated in 2012 held by the European Swimming Championships in Debrecen European Championships in synchronized swimming in Eindhoven she reached the sixth order in the combination eighth place in the solo.

In summer 2012, Brandl was the second time part of the Austrian Olympic Team at the Olympic Summer Games in London and took a duet with Lang at the competitions in synchronized swimming, where she reached her goal to come up with a 19th place among the top twenty.
