Nahgüterzug

As Nahgüterzug (abbreviation Ng ) is or has been on the railroad designates a freight train - as opposed to the passage of freight train - does not run on its entire path in the same compilation, but can be shortened or extended to the intermediate stations. However, in contrast to a transfer freight train Nahgüterzüge drove from a main railway station to another, often between two marshalling yards. On the way different groups of wagons were sold and added to the intermediate stations.
