Nairo Quintana

Nairo Alexander Quintana Rojas (born 4 February 1990 in Tunja ) is a Colombian road racing cyclist.

Childhood and youth

Nairo Quintana comes from a farming family from Cómbita in Colombia, 2800 meters high in the Andes, which lived from the sale of fruit and vegetables. When he was seven years old, his father had a serious accident with a truck, had to undergo surgery and has since been physically handicapped total of 14 times.
