Naknek Lake

The Naknek Lake is a lake in southwest Alaska on the Alaska Peninsula. He is completely in Katmai National Park.

The Naknek Lake is fed by, among other things Savonoski River, which rises on the western flank of the Aleutian Island chain. The outflow of the lake is the Naknek River, which flows westward into the Bristol Bay. A few kilometers downstream located with King Salmon the nearest village.

In the southeast of the lake lies at the mouth of Lake Brooks Seaplane achievable by the Brooks Camp, from the results of the only road to the National Park in the southeast Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes location.
