Nancy Kyes

Nancy Louise Kyes ( Psyeudonym Nancy Loomis, born December 19, 1949 in Falls Church, Virginia ) is an American actress.

She gained international fame for her role as Annie Brackett babysitter in the John Carpenter - Halloween slasher movie - The night of horror from the year 1978.

Kyes attended high school in Riverside, California, after they studied theater at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Her first starring role followed in 1976; there she starred in the thriller Assault - stop at night, the role of the secretary Julie and was occupied by John Carpenter as a new discovery for the film.

In 1978, John Carpenter cast her again with a starring role in his cult movie Halloween - The night of horror. The role of Annie Brackett was written specifically for them. In addition to Jamie Lee Curtis is Kyes established in the ranks of the Scream Queen. Two years later, followed by another supporting role in the John Carpenter classic The Fog - The Fog. In 1982, she plays one of the lead roles in the horror film Halloween III. In the film she embodies Linda Challis, wife of Tom Atkins.
