Nándor Dáni

Nándor Dani [ na ː ni ː da ndor ] (* May 30, 1871 in Budapest, † December 31, 1949 ) was a Hungarian middle distance runner.

As a member of MAC Budapest Dani took the first part of 1896 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. In the first round of the preliminaries of the 800 -meter run, he qualified in second with 0.2 seconds on the Australian Edwin Flack for the final. He was born on April 9, 1896 by 2:11,8 min, another just behind the finish Flack and thus won the bronze medal ( 1896, winner of the silver and the bronze medal of the second ).
