Nanhai One

Nanhai No. 1 and Nanhai 1 (Chinese南海 一号/南海 一号, Pinyin Náihǎi YIHAO, English Nanhai No.. 1/South China Sea No. 1.) Is a Chinese merchant ship in the time of the Southern Song Dynasty South China Sea (in Chinese Nan Hai ) sank. The ship is named after its place of discovery. The wreck was discovered in 1987 Yangjiang to the south China coast in the province of Guangdong. The total volume of the vessel was estimated by archaeologists to 50,000 to 70,000 art treasures. 2007 began the salvage of the vessel and its cargo. Specifically an underwater museum was built for the cruise ship, the Nanhai No. 1 Museum ( " Museum of the Chinese maritime Silk Road ").
