Nansen Island

The Nansen Island is the largest island in the Wilhelmina Bay in Antarctica. It is uninhabited. The island was discovered as part of the Belgica expedition, led by Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery and named after the Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen.
Due to its location on the Antarctic Peninsula, it is often activated in the context of tourist cruises.
