Nanxun District

Nanxun (Chinese南浔区, Pinyin Nanxun Qū ) is a municipality of the prefecture-level city of Huzhou in Zhejiang province, China. It has an area of 716 square kilometers and has about 500,000 inhabitants ( 2004).

The "old residence of the Zhang family in Nanxun " ( Nanxun Zhangshi Jiuzhaigou jianzhuqun南浔 张氏 旧宅 建筑 群) the house of the wealthy businessman Zhang Shiming in Chinese and Western style, since 2001 is on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 5 - 488 ).

Administrative Divisions

At the community level, the municipality is made up of nine large-scale communities. These are:

  • Greater community Nanxun (南浔镇), the capital, seat of government of the municipality;
  • Greater community Hefu (和 孚 镇);
  • Greater community Jiuguan (旧馆 镇);
  • Greater community Lianshi (练 市镇);
  • Greater community Linghu (菱湖 镇);
  • Greater community Qianjin (千金 镇);
  • Greater community Shanlian (善 琏 镇);
  • Greater community Shicong (石淙 镇);
  • Greater community Shuanglin (双 林镇).
