NAPA 200 (Tucson)

The NAPA 200 was a car race in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, which was held from 1995 to 1997, at Tucson Raceway Park in Tucson, Arizona. In no other of the three top divisions of NASCAR ever races were held on this route.

In the first edition in 1995, the race went under the name Racing Champions 200 Ron Hornaday Jr. won the race, was second PJ Jones, who in the meantime had three laps down and fought his way to the front during the race. The later champion Mike Skinner failed. It should be his only loss in the 1995 season. In the race there were for the first time in the history of NASCAR a " Green- White- Checkered Finish ", which means that there was a race for the first time extension. This rule existed before the foundation of the Craftsman Truck Series in any other series of NASCAR.

In the 1996 season, Mike Skinner won the race in 1997 in the third and final race it was again Ron Hornaday Jr., who crossed the finish line first.
