Narcisse Parant

Narcisse Parant ( born February 5, 1794 in Metz, † February 5, 1842 in Paris) was a French lawyer and politician. In the time of the July Monarchy, he was for many years a deputy education minister and six weeks.

Parant settled as a lawyer in Metz and was after the July Revolution of 1830 in the same year Procurator General of Metz and 1831 of Bourges. In the elections to the Chamber of Deputies from July 5, 1832 Parant could win a seat for the second constituency of the department of Moselle and remained until his death deputy. In 1832 he was appointed Advocate-General at the Cour de cassation. Under Louis -Mathieu Molés government Parant was in 1837 briefly Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Justice. On March 12, 1839 Parant consultant was at the Cour de Cassation of 31 March 1939 and led to 12 May 1839 Ministry of Education.
