Narcotic Thrust

Narcotic Thrust is a British musical project, which consists of the two DJs and producers Stuart Crichton and Andy Morris. The band's name is an anagram of Crichton's name.

Career

The Briton Crichton and the Australian Morris worked since the mid-1990s together in London. Crichton had started his career with remixes of various hit songs, including for Rozalla and The Grid. Under the name Umboza he scored two chart hits (? ). After joint gigs at various clubs in the British capital he founded with Morris, the project Narcotic Thrust and was released in 1996 with Funky Acid Baby 's first single. This was followed by remixes for Apollo 440, Real 2 Real and Amen UK.

In 2002 she created with Safe from Harm a dance classics and reached # 1 on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play charts. As a singer Yvonne John Lewis functioned. The commercial success was the largest to date duo with the single I Like It, which reached the Top Ten on the British charts in the fall of 2004 and came in at number 16 in the U.S. Dance / Club Play charts.

For their single When The Dawn Breaks (2005) they won Gary Clark, the lead singer of the Scottish band Danny Wilson. The single Waiting for You in 2006 was re- recorded with Yvonne John Lewis. In addition, more remixes for the band emerged Cassius ( The Sound of Violence ), Kylie Minogue ( Red Blooded Woman ) and Depeche Mode ( Suffer Well ).
