Nareh Arghamanyan

Nareh Arghamanyan ( born January 21, 1989 in Vanadzor, Armenia ) is an Armenian pianist.

Life

Arghamanyan began playing the piano at the age of five years. Three years later she was admitted to Yerevan at the State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. In 2004, she was admitted at age 15 as the youngest student at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, from autumn 2010 she has been studying with Arie Vardi at the Musikhochschule Hannover.

The pianist won the 2008 " Montreal International Music Competition ". At only 19, she sat down as the youngest participant with Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 against 22 other applicants. In the same year she won the " Josef Dichler Piano Competition " and the second prize at the " Gina Bachauer Competiton ". In the 2009 season, she made her New York debut at the Frick Collection, and then various recitals in the United States. In October 2010, she won the Kissinger piano Olympus the 2nd place.

In 2011, she will perform with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.
