Nasser Al-Rashid

Nasser Al-Rasheed ( born 1937 ) is a Saudi Arabian businessman.

He is a billionaire and an influential adviser to the Arab royal family. Despite his apparent wealth, he will not appear on the list of richest people in the world by Forbes Magazine, as his wealth like that of many other Saudis can not be estimated reliably from publicly available sources. He studied at the University of Texas at Austin Civil Engineering and is there a generous patron. The University has therefore been called the Dr. Nasser Al -Rashid Strength and Training Center after him.

After studying taught Ar - Rashid at the King Fahd University in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. In 1975 he founded the company in Riyadh Rashid Engineering, which was instrumental in the largest construction projects in Saudi Arabia. Within a few years, Rashid Engineering developed into the largest construction company of the Kingdom and exceeded 1980 sales mark of $ 2 billion per year.

Nasser Al-Rasheed married 1977, the Franco-Lebanese jet- Mouna Ayoub members, from whom he was divorced in 1995. He is currently married to a Belgian- Algerian woman.

On his behalf, was built in 1990 by the German shipyard Blohm Voss, the then largest yacht in the world: the Lady Moura. The production costs were estimated at approximately $ 200 million.
