Natalya Sadova

Natalya Ivanovna Sadowa (Russian Наталья Ивановна Садова, English transcription Natalya Sadova, born Koptjuch, . Born June 15, 1972 in Gorky ) is a Russian discus thrower.

She won at the Athens Olympic Games gold medal in their discipline. Three years earlier, at the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton, she had also won the competition, but was disqualified in March 2005, since its a high caffeine has been shown to value at that time. World Champion was then Elina Swerawa.

Because of a doping offense Natalja Sadowa by the International Athletics Federation IAAF for the period of two years (July 7, 2006 to July 6, 2008 ) was banned for participation in competitions. She had been detected in a doping test after a game on May 28, 2006, a too high value of the anabolic steroid methandienone.
