Natasha Richardson

Natasha Jane Richardson ( born May 11, 1963 in London, † March 18, 2009 in New York) was a British actress.

Life

Richardson was born in 1963 as the daughter of actress Vanessa Redgrave and director Tony Richardson. It was thus one of the most famous English actor Families: The younger sister Joely Richardson, who died in 2010, aunt Lynn Redgrave and the grandfather Sir Michael Redgrave.

Richardson attended the Central School of Speech and Drama in England. First stage experience she gained as Helena in William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and as Ophelia in Hamlet. The breakthrough came in 1986 with her ​​portrayal of Nina in Chekhov's The Seagull.
