Nate Thurmond

Nathaniel Thurmond ( born July 25, 1941 in Akron, Ohio ), called Nate The Great, is a former American professional basketball player. Between 1963 and 1977 he played in the NBA for the crews of the San Francisco Warriors / Golden State Warriors, Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers. Thurmond was 2.11 m tall and played the position of center. He was the first player to score a quadruple -double as he scored on October 8, 1974 against the Atlanta Hawks 22 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists and 12 blocks.

In 1964, Thurmond All- Rookie team appointed for the playful performance in his first year as a pro in the NBA.
