Nathalie Griesbeck

Nathalie Griesbeck ( born May 24, 1956 in Metz) is a French politician ( Mouvement démocrate, formerly Union pour la démocratie française ).

After graduating from the university in public law and the promotion preliminary examinations in public law and legal history Gries Beck worked as a lecturer in public law at the University of Metz.

Gries Beck is a member of the National Executive Board of the Mouvement Démocrate. Since 2004 she is a member of the European Parliament. At local and regional level Griesbeck has long been politically active: Since 1988 she is a member of the General Council of the department of Moselle in Metz Canton III. From 1983 to 1995 she was councilor of Metz, then first deputy mayor of Metz, 2001-2004 Deputy Mayor for Finance and Economic Development.

Gries Beck is a colonel in the Reserve of the Air Force, Commander of the Order for Services to Education ( Academic Palms ) and Knight of the National Order of Merit National.

Activities as an MEP

Gries Beck is in the Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe.

It is a member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and the Delegation to the ACP -EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly. As Deputy Griesbeck member of the Committee on Transport and Tourism, in the Delegation for relations with the Mercosur countries and the Delegation to the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly.
