National Assembly of Nagorno-Karabakh
The unicameral parliament of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the National Assembly (Armenian Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետություն Ազգային Ժողով Lernaïn Gharabaghi Hanrapetut'yun Azgayin Zhoghov, Russian Национальное Собрание Нагорно - Карабахской Республики ) is the supreme legislative body of this stabilized de facto regime.
It has 33 members who are elected for a period of five years. 16 of them ( before 2010 only 11) are elected in a constituency for a seat, on all remaining seats will be elected according to party lists according to the system of proportional representation.
Their powers are determined in Chapter IV of the Constitution of the Nagorno-Karabakh ..
