National Assembly of South Africa

The National Assembly (English: National Assembly) is a chamber in the bicameral system in South Africa, based in Cape Town.

The National Assembly is elected by proportional representation, with each half of the 400 members on national lists and lists province moves into the Parliament.

The second chamber of Parliament, the Provincial Council ( National Council of Provinces ).

The last elections were held on 22 April 2009. Chairman of the National Assembly ( Speaker of the National Assembly) is since 2009 the ANC politicians Vuyisile Max Sisulu.
