National Assembly (São Tomé and Príncipe)

The National Assembly ( Assembléia Nacional ) is the unicameral Parliament of São Tomé and Príncipe.

In the National Assembly, 55 members are elected every four years by proportional representation. The seat of the National Assembly is located in the capital of São Tomé. Entitled to vote is every citizen over 18 years. The last elections were held on August 1, 2010.
