National Computing Centre

The National Computing Centre (NCC ) is a non-profit organization that promotes the use of information technology in business. It is based in Manchester.

The NCC was founded on 10 June 1966 efforts of the British government with the aim to promote the use of computers in the UK and to ensure a good education and effective training in the IT sector.

Initially, NCC mainly financed by subsidies from the British government. Since 1988, the member organization funded independently.
