National Festival of Polish Song in Opole

The country music festival Festival of Polish Song (Polish: " Krajowy Festiwal Piosenki Polskiej " ) will be held in the Polish city of Opole annually. It is considered one of the most important events in addition to the festival in Sopot.

For the first time the music festival was held in 1963 and once in 1982 interrupted during the imposition of martial law. In later years, the program was expanded to include rock and hip -hop.
