National Formosa University

The National University of Formosa (Chinese国立 虎尾 科技 大学/国立 虎尾 科技 大学, Pinyin Guoli Keji Daxue Hǔwěi, State Scientific and Technological University, Huwei '), English name National Formosa University, abbreviation NFU, is a national university of the Republic of China on Taiwan. It is located in the town of Huwei west of Douliu in Yunlin County.

The university was founded in 1980 bears since 2004, the only university in Taiwan, the historical name of the island of Formosa in their name. It has around 10,000 students, President since 2005 Jenn -Der Lin.
