National Front (Belgium)

The National Front was a far-right party in the French speaking part of Belgium.

Objectives

The National Front party stressed the security policy and spoke out against immigration. A birth -enhancing family policy was also required.

Furthermore, they campaigned for greater autonomy of the Walloon part of the country. Unlike the Vlaams Belang in Flanders, the front was not separatist, but probelgisch and used the tricolor and the Belgian anthem on their own website.

Despite the pronounced emphasis on the Walloon identity of FN also included electoral alliances in the constituency of Brussels-Halle -Vilvoorde with the overall successful Vlaams Belang.
