National Governors Association

The National Governors Association (NGA ) is an organization of the governors of the 50 U.S. states and five U.S. foreign territories (American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands ).

The NGA is a highly respected institution and acts as an intermediary between the governors and the federal government in Washington.

Current Chairman ( Chair ) of the NGA is Mary Fallin, Republican Governor of Oklahoma.
