National Library of Wales

The National Library of Wales ( Welsh: Cymru Llyfrgell Genedlaethol / ɬəvrgeɬ genedlaɪθol kəmrɪ /; National Library of Wales ) is a library in Aberystwyth, Wales. She is entitled to a mandatory copy of each published in the UK or the Republic of Ireland book and is home to over 4 million printed volumes, including many rare books as the first in 1546 in Welsh printed book and the first complete Welsh translation of the Bible from the year 1588th

Many rare and important manuscripts such as The Black Book of Carmarthen (the oldest surviving complete manuscript in Welsh ), The Book of Taliesin and a manuscript of the works of Geoffrey Chaucer are found.

Next are The Welsh Political Archive, The National Screen and Sound Archive of Wales, maps, photographs, paintings, topographical and landscape prints as well as magazines and newspapers in the library.

Many of the most important works have been digitized and are freely available for viewing on the library's website.
