National Science Museum (Thailand)

The National Museum of Science ( Thai: พิพิธภัณฑ์ วิทยาศาสตร์ แห่ง ชาต, English: National Science Museum ) is a science museum dedicated to the Amphoe Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani Province, Thailand.

The museum was opened in 2000 to celebrate the 60th birthday of Queen Sirikit. Therefore it is also called " Queen Sirikit National Museum of the Big - science." The museum is under the administration of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Besides the usual scientifically oriented objects are on the 6th floor traditional techniques, such as pottery, carving, basket making and metallurgy, is shown. On the 4th floor you will find illustrations of how the geography has shaped the people of the Thai.
