Nationwide Building Society

Nationwide Building Society is the largest building society in the UK with headquarters in Swindon.

The building society serves approximately 13 million customers and employs around 19,000 people (as of 2008). The company was established in 1884. In 2007 the company merged with the British building society Portman Building Society.
