Natori, Miyagi
Natori (Japanese名 取 市, -shi ) is a city in Miyagi Prefecture on Honshu, the main island of Japan.
Geography
Natori is located south of Sendai and north of Iwanuma on the Pacific Ocean.
History
On 11 March 2011 the city was hit by the Tohoku earthquake and the subsequent tsunami. Until May 20, 901 dead and 145 missing persons were counted.

The Sendai Airport is located in the cities of Natori and Iwanuma, which are located south of Sendai.
