Naujoji Akmenė listen? / I is a city and seat of the Rajongemeinde Akmenė ( Akmenės rajono savivaldybė ) in northern Lithuania near the border with Latvia. The city's name means New Akmene - is this is a newly created city plan in conjunction with industrial settlements. There is a large cement plant.
