The station Naujoji Vilnia ( lit. Naujosios Vilnios Geležinkelio Stotis ) is a railway station in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius, in the north- east of the city, in the district and in the administrative community Naujoji Vilnia. It is operated by the Lithuanian State Railways Lietuvos Geležinkeliai. The station is located on the Warsaw - Petersburg Railroad and is the starting point of a route to Minsk. Access is by the reception building from the south gatvė on the Tremtinįų and gatvė from the north via the A. V. Kojelavičiaus. The seven platforms are connected via a pedestrian tunnel.

History

On September 14, 1860, the section of the Pskov - Vilnius Warsaw - Petersburg railway was opened. The train station in Naujoji Vilnia was built later, when the settlement was in the making and will primarily settled railwaymen in the environment. Between 1940 and 1941 due to the annexation of Lithuania by the Soviet Union, many residents Naujoji Vilnia were deported from towards Siberia.
