Nausnitz is a municipality in the Thuringian Saale- wood - country circuit and part of fulfilling community Biirgel.

Location and transport

Nausnitz located in the eastern part of Thuringia, about 300 m north of the highway 7 east is about 3 km away, fulfilling community BÜRGEL west in about 10 km distance Jena and turn east at about 14 kilometers from the county seat Eisenberg. The community Nausnitz was approved on 11 December 2002 by the President of the Thuringian State Administrative Office to demonstrate the coat of arms and the flag.
