Nautilus Pompilius (band)

Nautilus Pompilius (Russian Наутилус Помпилиус ), often just called Nau ( Нау ), was a Russian rock band.

Nautilus Pompilius was founded in 1982 in Sverdlovsk and stayed together until 1997. They were known for their original lyrics and melodies. The songs became anthems of the perestroika. Also, include some of their songs to the soundtrack of the film The Brother ( Брат ). After the dissolution of the band front man Vyacheslav Butussow started a very successful solo career and formed the band Ju - Piter.
