The Moqui Marbles are of oxidic iron compounds ( limonite, goethite, hematite), surrounded and partially penetrated round stones from an Indian reservation in southern Utah in the United States. The marble- shaped (English, Marbles ' = marbles) concretions were named after the Moqui Indians, the Indian tribe, who formerly populated this area. The Hopi were formerly called Moki ' or Moqui.

Use
