Navigable aqueduct
As a canal bridge is called a bridge structure, which is used to perform channel over another, deeper located object. The best-known examples in Germany are the canal bridge over the Elbe in Magdeburg Water Bridge and the canal bridge of the Oder- Havel canal over the railway Berlin- Stralsund - Pasewalk north of Eberswalde.
Frequently encountered are canal bridges in France, where in topographically challenging terrain canals were built in the 19th century.
