Navojoa is a city in the Mexican state of Sonora with 140 650 inhabitants. Navojoa Navojoa capital of the municipality, situated in the south of Sonora between mountains and coast.

History

Navojoa was founded in 1825. The region was founded in 1533 for the first time explored by Diego de Guzmán.

Education

In the city there is a branch of the Universidad de Sonora.

The city is very popular because of their location and climate. About 21,000 tourists per year to the city. There are 538 rooms, 26 restaurants and three travel agencies in the city.
