Nazik Avdalyan

Nazik Awdaljan (Armenian Նազիկ Ավդալյան, Russian Назели ( Назик ) Вардановна Авдалян, English transcription: Nazik Avdalyan; born October 31, 1986 in Leninakan, then Soviet Union) is an Armenian weightlifter. It was 2009 world champion in the weight category to 69 kg body weight.

Career

Nazik Awdaljan began in her home town of Gyumri with the weight lifting. Trained by Artashes Nersisjan she appeared in 2006 for the first time at an international championship, which was equal to the World Cup in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic). She started in the weight category to 69 kg body weight (BW ) and achieved in a duel 221 kg ( 100-121 ), with whom she took a good 7th place.

In 2007 she was in Strasbourg already Vice - European Champion ( to 69 kg body weight), increasing thereby their performance in a duel to 241 kg ( 105-136 ). Only Sliwenko Oksana from Russia reached 257 kg ( 112-145 ) better performance. At the 2007 World Championships in Chiang Mai / Thailand Nazik Avdaljan was 235 kg ( 102-135 ) does not quite match the performance of Strasbourg approach and landed on the 5th Place.
