NBA Most Valuable Player Award

The NBA Most Valuable Player Award is an award of the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Most Valuable Player (English: Most Valuable Player, MVP short ) of the league in the regular season. A similar award is the NBA Finals MVP Award for the Most Valuable Player in the final round of the play-offs.

History and electoral process
