NBTY, Inc. (formerly Nature's Bounty, Inc.) is an international US-based company that manufactures nutritional supplements and sells under its own name as well as via third parties.

The company was founded in 1971 under the name Nature's Bounty as a subsidiary of Arco Pharmaceuticals, Inc.. In 1980, NBTY in 1960 by Arthur Rudolph, father of the current CEO and Chairman, founded Arco Pharmaceuticals and integrated them fully.

NBTY employs 13,760 people and markets under different brand names around 22,000 products in 80 countries. In 2008 the company generated sales of 2.179 billion U.S. dollars.
