NcFTP

Ncftp is a free FTP client for the command line, which runs under many current operating systems. The first version of NcFTP appeared in 1991. Ncftpd With a FTP server is available.

Function

NcFTP is often cited as a convenient alternative to FTP. It can handle all of this supported FTP commands and offers some improvements, such as the completion of filenames and create bookmarks to quickly access frequently used folders on an FTP server.

With ncftpget and ncftpput also have two additional programs available that specifically target individual files to FTP server up - and download of these may be using special parameters.

Ncftpd

Since 1996, an FTP server application is distributed by the NcFTP developers, which can be used for private use without licensing costs.
