NDR Kultur Sachbuchpreis

The NDR Kultur nonfiction prize is awarded annually for the best published in German language nonfiction since 2009. Prizes will be awarded, as the founder of "outstanding author services with which socially and scientifically relevant topics for a general audience to make it understandable. "

Donors and doping

Sponsor of the prize is NDR Kultur, the award was initially in collaboration with the Literary Festival Göttingen literature autumn. 2009 award winners

2009 award winner was Jürgen Osterhammel with his book The Transformation of the World. A history of the 19th century ( CH Beck, Munich). Winner of the nonfiction prize in 2011 Bettina Stangneth for her book Eichmann in Jerusalem. The Opus Primum the Volkswagen Foundation received Robert Lorenz for his dissertation protest the physicist. The award ceremony took place in Göttingen on 23 October 2011.

2012 winners
